SPIRITUAL LIFE
One of the hallmarks of New Theological College is that it seeks to blend spirituality and academics in its pursuit of theological education. Therefore, the college provides the students, staff, and other members of the community ample opportunities for spiritual and academic exercises.
Devotional life of each student is considered as very important part of his or her ministerial formation.
The devotion sessions in the college include morning and evening devotions, daily chapel service, Sunday church service, twice a week Abba Father Prayer sessions and once a month day of fasting and prayer. In addition to these, we conduct special days of spiritual emphasis, mission emphasis, and pastoral care sessions. Through these academic and other ministerial training and devotional sessions students acquire the much needed Christian spiritual discipline, character and maturity for future ministry. NTC is well known for spiritual disciplines and academic excellence.
Members of the staff/faculty and their families meet on alternate Saturdays (6: 30–8:00 p.m.) for prayer, sharing and fellowship.
